1. About Omnidash

Omnidash is a financial management platform built specifically for Australian gig and rideshare drivers. It helps you:

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through our mobile app, website at omnidash.app, and related services (collectively, the “Services”), and how we use, store, and protect it.

By using Omnidash, you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services. Questions? Reach us at support@omnidash.app.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information you provide directly

When you register and use Omnidash, you may provide:

2.2 Information collected automatically

When you use the app or visit our website, we automatically collect:

2.3 Information from third parties

If you sign in via a social account (e.g. Google), we receive basic profile information such as your name and email. We do not purchase or obtain data about you from any other third-party sources.

2.4 Sensitive information

Because Omnidash handles your earnings and expense data, some of the information we process is classified as sensitive financial data under Australian privacy law. We only process this data where necessary to deliver the core features of the service, and always with your consent.

Google API: Our use of any information received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

We do not use your financial or earnings data for advertising purposes, and we never sell your data to third parties.

4. Who We Share Your Information With

We share your personal information only with service providers who need it to help us operate Omnidash. All providers are contractually bound to protect your data and use it only for the services they provide to us.

We may also disclose your information:

5. Third-Party Services & Links

The Services may contain links to third-party websites or services (such as the ATO website or Uber’s driver portal). These are not covered by this Privacy Policy. We encourage you to read the privacy policies of any third-party services you use.

Omnidash is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of third-party services, even if linked from within the app.

6. Cookies & Tracking

Our website uses standard cookies and similar technologies to keep you logged in, remember your preferences, and analyse aggregate usage patterns via Google Analytics.

You can configure your browser to block or delete cookies. Blocking certain cookies may affect how the website functions. The app does not use browser cookies — it uses secure on-device storage instead.

We use the following Google Analytics Advertising Features: Remarketing with Google Analytics, Google Display Network Impressions Reporting, and Google Analytics Demographics and Interests Reporting. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout or via Google Ads Settings.

7. AI-Powered Features

Omnidash includes AI-powered features to help you understand your financial data — for example, summarising your earnings or suggesting expense categories. These features are powered by Anthropic’s Claude API.

When you use these features, relevant portions of your data (such as receipt details or trip summaries) may be sent to Anthropic for processing. We send only the minimum data needed to respond to your query — never your full financial history.

You must not use Omnidash’s AI features in any way that violates Anthropic’s usage policies.

8. Social Logins

You can sign up or log in using your Google account. When you do, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google. We use this information only to create and manage your Omnidash account.

We do not receive access to your Google contacts, Drive, or other Google services unless you explicitly grant that permission. You can review Google’s privacy settings at any time through your Google account.

9. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we will delete or anonymise your data within 60 days, except where we are legally required to retain certain records longer (for example, financial records for tax compliance purposes).

You can request deletion of your account and data at any time through the app’s account settings or by contacting us at support@omnidash.app.

10. Security

We take data security seriously, particularly given that Omnidash handles sensitive financial information. Our security measures include:

No system is completely secure. If you believe your Omnidash account has been compromised, please contact us immediately at support@omnidash.app.

11. Children’s Privacy

Omnidash is designed for adult gig workers and is not intended for anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has created an account, please contact us and we will promptly delete the account and associated data.

12. Your Privacy Rights

Under Australian privacy law, and depending on your location, you have the right to:

To exercise any of these rights, log in to your account settings or contact us at support@omnidash.app. We will respond within 30 days.

You can also submit a formal data subject access request.

13. Do Not Track

Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” (DNT) signal. There is currently no industry-wide standard for responding to DNT signals, and Omnidash does not currently alter its data collection practices based on DNT signals. If a recognised standard is adopted, we will update this policy accordingly.

14. Australian & New Zealand Privacy Laws

Omnidash is an Australian product. We collect and process personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). We also comply with New Zealand’s Privacy Act 2020 for users in New Zealand.

If you believe we have mishandled your personal information, you have the right to lodge a complaint with:

We encourage you to contact us first at support@omnidash.app so we can try to resolve your concern directly.

15. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or via an in-app notification before the changes take effect. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent version.

Your continued use of Omnidash after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
